Rolling Forward with a Lighter Impact: CEAT Awarded ISO 14064-1:2018 Certification

Control Union Sri Lanka is proud to have conducted the independent third-party verification that enabled CEAT Kelani Holdings to achieve the ISO 14064-1:2018 certification for the quantification and reporting of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and removals.

As one of Sri Lanka’s leading tyre manufacturers, CEAT’s achievement marks a significant milestone in the country’s broader journey toward climate responsibility and transparent emissions reporting. The certification confirms CEAT’s structured and credible approach to measuring and managing its carbon footprint in line with global GHG accounting standards and Sri Lanka’s national Measurement, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) framework.

By adopting internationally endorsed methodologies, CEAT Kelani is demonstrating its commitment to sustainable manufacturing practices, climate-conscious decision-making, and long-term environmental stewardship.
