Sri Lanka’s First BCI CoC Certificate Awarded to Teejay Lanka PLC

Control Union Sri Lanka has proudly awarded the country’s first-ever Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) Chain of Custody (CoC) Certificate, marking a significant milestone in Sri Lanka’s sustainable textile journey.
The certificate was officially presented to Teejay Lanka PLC, a leading textile manufacturer, recognizing their commitment to responsible sourcing and sustainable cotton supply chains. The award ceremony took place with the presence of key representatives from both organizations.
The certificate was handed over to Mr. Janaka Nanayakkara, Senior General Manager – Group HR, and Ms. Sinidu Wijayarathne, Manager – Marketing at Teejay Group, by Mr. Roshan Ranawake, Managing Director of Control Union Sri Lanka, along with his team.
