Sri Lanka’s First PPRS Certification Marks a New Chapter in Responsible Plastic Waste Management

Control Union Sri Lanka proudly certifies INSEE Ecocycle Lanka (Pvt) Ltd as the first organization in Sri Lanka to be awarded the Plastic Pollution Reduction Standard (PPRS) certification, a globally recognized benchmark for transparent, verified, and accountable plastic-waste reduction.

Developed by PCX Solutions, the PPRS framework enables organizations to measure, reduce, and credibly communicate their plastic-reduction achievements through third-party assurance and verified plastic credits. This certification empowers businesses to take meaningful climate action while demonstrating accountability in their environmental stewardship.
